This is a vinyasa flow style class done at a moderate to brisk pace. Expect sun salutations, strength building poses, deep stretching and twists. This 75 minute yoga practice session consists of seated warm-ups with focus on the breath to help center the body, standing and balancing postures to improve muscle and bone strength, and seated and supine stretches and twists that improve flexibility. While this class can be challenging, beginner's who are in good shape can jump right in and will probably pick up the routine quickly. The session finishes with a guided relaxation posture leaving you with a calm mind and rejuvenated body.
This class is for all levels and modifications are given if needed to ensure the postures are done safely.
