30 Hr UpLevel Yoga Program
This program would be suitable for anyone who has had a steady yoga practice of at least a year.
- feel you are not getting enough from the regular all levels class
- are on the verge of arm balances, inversions, deeper levels of flexibility and strength
- want to try more "advanced" poses
We will also go beyond the poses and explore...
- breathing techniques
- yoga philosophy and history, etc...
- strength building in the shoulders with planks and chataranga
- strength building in the core with at the wall L pose and shakti kicks
- strength building in the hips and legs with squats and balancing poses
- basic overview of the yoga sutras
- breathing excersizes including alternate nostril breath and ujayi breath
- meditation techniques
- sanskrit names of poses
