Break down and explore individual elements that allow backbending with control and comfort.
Workshop focus will be on centering (physical and mental), what muscles/joints are used and how body structure affects backbends.
Poses will include prep for balance and backbending poses.
Open to all levels.

We all have energy fields that support us, how we treat them and acknowledge them can effect us mentally, emotionally and physically.
• This is an introductory workshop to explain what a chakra is, where and what they are related to on our bodies and the benefits of knowing this information.
• Learn what each chakra means to you and the basic tools to get started on your chakra journey.
• There will be some gentle movement along with some mindful meditation.

Inversions can be invigorating, soothing and calming to the nervous system. Bringing the head below the heart allows more oxygen and blood flow to the brain, boosts metabolism and energy levels, works the core, and stimulates the lymphatic system.
This workshop will focus on the flow of energy in the body when inverted, how to prep the body and mind for going upside down and finding the sweet spot of balance and alignment.
Poses will include dolphine pose, wall T-stand, shoulderstand, headstand, and handstand.
Open to all levels with at least three months of steady yoga practice behind them.
